‘We have been dealing with Topaz since October 2007 and I can honestly say that they are an excellent company to deal with due in no small part to a superb area manager Declan Murphy. It’s of huge benefit to be affiliated with such a well-recognised and trusted brand especially in the recent past when there has been so much controversy regarding fuel laundering/stretching etc. Customers recognise Topaz as a legitimate brand and have trust in it. That is the feedback we were getting from customers during that crisis. We have a strong fuel card business and this is a great help to our business as it brings extra footfall through our doors. Also the Play and Park loyalty scheme has helped maintain our core business. The recent Cash for Clubs promotion was a huge success especially as our local GAA club was one of the €5,000 winners and it certainly enticed new customers to shop with us rather than the competitor. I personally deal with the accounts and I have to say that the processing of the fuel cards is exceptionally efficient and accurate and on the odd occasion when there is a query it is dealt with immediately. The system of accounting and processing used by Topaz is certainly something that I personally like and find very easy to operate. The ordering system for fuel deliveries is very good and the staff involved are very amenable and eager to suit us regarding fuel delivery times. As I said previously our experience with Topaz is very positive due in no small part of our area manager Declan Murphy. He is a very competent and professional manager and is always there to help in any way he can. Declan is very affable and always in good spirits when he calls to us and we find it very easy to discuss situations with him as he listens to our concerns and deals with them. Peter O’Connor is our main contact and makes himself available to us at all times.   We deal with him on an on-going basis, and he delivers on his promises.
