Petrol is an unleaded fuel with a minimum Octane Rating of 95 and is used in spark ignition engines.  Topaz Petrol contains an additive package which maintains the engine in optimum condition. The Specification is IS EN 228.

Super Unleaded Petrol is an unleaded fuel with a minimum Octane Rating of 97 and is used in spark ignition engines.  Topaz Petrol contains an additive package which maintains the engine in optimum condition. The Specification is IS EN 228.  This product is only available in the North of Ireland.

Diesel is used in compression engines mainly by on-road vehicles. The Sulphur content is currently 10ppm max. The Specification is IS EN 590.

Gas Oil is a Diesel type fuel used mainly in industrial boilers or home heating applications. The fuel is dyed green and also contains a chemical marker. It is available as a Winter and Summer Grade. Customers should ensure that they have Winter Grade in their tanks before the onset of winter in November. The Specification is IS 251 or BS 2869 Class A2 and D.

Marine Gas Oil is a Diesel type fuel used in marine engine applications (mainly fishing vessels and passenger ferries). It contains a dye and a chemical marker for duty purposes. The Specification is ISO 8217.

Sulphur Free Gas Oil is a Diesel type fuel, containing less than 10ppm Sulphur, used as a fuel for off-road vehicles. The fuel is dyed green and also contains a chemical marker. It is available as a Winter and Summer grade. Customers should ensure that they have Winter grade in their tanks before the onset of winter in November.The Specification is IS 251 or BS 2869.

Kerosene is a fuel mainly used as a domestic heating oil but may be used in industrial applications, both as a fuel and a solvent. It also contains a dye and a chemical marker .  The Specification is BS 2869 Class C2.

Low Sulphur Fuel Oils are available in three viscosity grades, Light, Medium and Heavy, and are used as fuels in large industrial boilers.  This would mainly be in factories where steam generation is a requirement. Fuel Oils can also be used as an industrial heating oil . The Specification is BS 2869 Classes E,F,G.
