Climbing enthusiast will swap Black Stairs and Comeraghs for Africa’s highest peak

Colin Healy from Dunmore East is literally climbing cloud nine after winning a trip for two to Kilimanjaro in Topaz’s new Play or Park loyalty game.

Thirty three year old Colin, who teaches Accounting and Business in De La Salle College said winning the all inclusive trip valued at €20K to Africa’s highest mountain is a “dream come true”.

“I love trekking and climbing and head off with friends to the Comeraghs or Black Stairs once a month. So when I saw the text about this prize after filling my car in Topaz’s Manor site I just had to enter. Out of all the fantastic monthly prizes this was the one for me. I couldn’t believe it when I got the call saying I had won” Colin said.

Colin’s prize includes two return business class flights from Ireland, €2K spending money, a top of the range digital camera, full hotel and camping accommodation for the 12 day trip, a safari day-trip to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and of course last but not least,  two pairs of hiking boots!

Who will be wearing the other pair of boots to the top of the 5,895m high mountain remains something of a mystery. “We’ll see, I’ll probably have to put together an X factor selection process” Colin joked.

Laura Murphy, Loyalty Manager at Topaz said everyone at the Company was delighted for Colin and wished him well on his adventure.

“Play or Park is our new loyalty game and it’s all about rewarding regular customers like Colin. Every month we are giving away an experience of a lifetime. This month it’s clear the winner and the prize are a perfect match. Colin is truly is a very deserving winner and we are so delighted to make his dream come true!”
